I am Dilshan Chamikara, a final-year BSc (Hons) Information Technology undergraduate at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), driven by a powerful vision to become a world-class, globally successful tech entrepreneur.

My leadership foundation was established early as Head Prefect during my O/L years. Having pursued Commerce for my A/L studies, I developed a strong early understanding of business and financial principles, which I further solidified by completing AAT Stage 2. Recognizing the potential to merge commercial strategy with technological innovation, I deliberately chose to pursue an IT degree for my higher education.

It was during my university years that I discovered my passion for hardware-software integration, beginning with hands-on Arduino-based projects. Over the past three years, I have deepened my software expertise, specializing in React Native and the MERN stack. My professional internship at FIDA Global provided invaluable real-world experience, teaching me effective project management, direct client communication, and the crucial importance of taking full accountability and responsibility for my work.

Currently, I am channeling my profound passion for AI and IoT convergence into architecting a Smart School Bus Management System (SSBMS), utilizing edge devices like the ESP32-CAM. Ultimately, I aim to leverage my unique blend of business acumen, software engineering, and hardware integration to build massive global enterprises.
